Our puppy price, regardless of sex or choice number, is $3000 + sales tax.  Each puppy will be microchipped and come fully registered with AKC…all paid for by Highfire Kennels.  Highfire reserves the right to keep pick-of-the-litter when so desired and the stud may be changed when Highfire Kennels deems it necessary.   Highfire Kennels requires that each puppy’s AKC registered name begin with “Highfires” (No exceptions).

Once you’ve decided to purchase a Highfire puppy, a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to reserve a puppy and your pick-position on the waiting list.  A second payment of $500 will be due once the puppies are whelped, and a final cash payment of $2000 + sales tax will be due on pick-up day.  If there were not enough puppies born to get to your position on the list you are on, your name and deposit will be moved to a future available litter list of your choosing.

Buyers who have sent in their deposit and are on a litter’s waiting list will pick their puppies in order of the litter list on the day the puppies turn 5 weeks of age. Pick-up day is generally the first Saturday after the puppies turn 8 weeks old.  Puppies held over beyond pick-up day will incur a $45 per day boarding fee.

We want the puppy buying process to be an easy and fun experience for you.  Once you are on a waiting list, you will receive updates on the progress of pregnancy, when the litter is born, when they open their eyes, etc.  We recommend following Highfire Kennels on Facebook and Instagram as we post most updates, photos and videos there often…and if you ever have a question, please don’t hesitate to call.

On pick-up day, each puppy will go home with a small bag of food, HF feed cup, collar, chew toy, health/vaccination records, AKC registration, your puppy’s microchip information and a Highfire Kennels hat of your choice.  Additional hats, t-shirts and hoodies can also be purchased on pick-up day.

Highfire Kennels guarantees that the puppy you purchase from us is in good health and has been given its first vaccinations , wormings and has been health checked by a licensed veterinarian. As the buyer, you will receive your puppy’s updated list of vaccinations and wormings on puppy pick up day. Highfire Kennels’ buyers can return their puppy in exchange for a puppy from a future HFK litter of the same advertised value if the puppy is deemed to have a genetic health defect and the genetic health defect is diagnosed by a certified veterinarian in writing within three days of the buyer first receiving the puppy. If such a case arises, the puppy must be returned to Highfire Kennels within seven days of the vet certification along with any and all documents, including AKC registration papers and vet certification, at the buyer’s expense. Highfire Kennels does not accept responsibility for any contagious diseases the puppy may develop after the puppy leaves Highfire Kennels property.

We recommend picking up your puppy in person, either by personal vehicle or airplane.  If you will be flying home with your new Highfire puppy, an additional $75 charge will be added to your final payment for your puppy’s vet health certificate which is required to fly.  When flying, you will also need a soft-sided, airline-approved pet carrier as your puppy will be your personal carry-on.  Pet carriers can be purchased from many vendors online and we recommend purchasing a quality carrier.  Your puppy will weigh between 12-15 pounds at 8 weeks of age, so purchase your pet carrier accordingly.
