PRICING AND POLICY
Our puppy price, regardless of sex or choice number, is $1500. Each puppy will be microchipped and come fully registered with AKC…all paid for by Highfire Kennels. Highfire reserves the right to keep pick-of-the-litter when so desired. The only requirement from Highfire Kennels is that each puppy’s AKC registered name begin with “Highfires” (No exceptions).
Once you’ve decided to purchase a Highfire puppy, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy and your pick-position on the waiting list. A second payment of $500 will be due once the puppies are whelped, and a final cash payment of $500 will be due on pick-up day. Pick-up day is the first Saturday after the puppies turn 8 weeks old. Puppies held over one week beyond pick-up day will incur a $25 per day boarding fee. Buyers who have sent in their deposit and are on the waiting list will pick their puppies in order of deposit received when the puppies are 5 weeks of age.
We want the puppy buying process to be an easy and fun experience for you. Once you are on a waiting list, you will receive updates on the progress of pregnancy, when the litter is born, when they open their eyes, etc. We recommend following Highfire Kennels on Facebook and Instagram as we post most updates, photos and videos there often…and if you ever have a question, please don’t hesitate to call.
On pick-up day, each puppy will go home with a small bag of food, HF feed cup, collar, chew toy, health/vaccination records and a Highfire Kennels hat of your choice. Additional hats can be purchased for $25.
Highfire Kennels guarantees that the puppy you purchase from us is in good health and has been given its first vaccinations , wormings and has been health checked by a licensed veterinarian. As the buyer, you will receive your puppy’s updated list of vaccinations and wormings on puppy pick up day. Highfire Kennels’ buyers can return their puppy in exchange for a puppy from a future HFK litter of the same advertised value if the puppy is deemed to have a genetic health defect and the genetic health defect is diagnosed by a certified veterinarian in writing within three days of the buyer first receiving the puppy. If such a case arises, the puppy must be returned to Highfire Kennels within seven days of the vet certification along with any and all documents, including AKC registration papers and vet certification, at the buyer’s expense. Highfire Kennels does not accept responsibility for any contagious diseases the puppy may develop after the puppy leaves Highfire Kennels property.
Although we recommend picking up your puppy in person, Highfire Kennels will ship (within the continental United States) your puppy if required. If shipping is required, additional fees for flight, vet certification, and shipping crate will be added to the puppy cost. Though shipping puppies via airline is considered safe, Highfire Kennels is not responsible for any issues, health or otherwise, resulting from
shipping. The entire cost of the puppy, airfare, crate and vet certification must be paid in full before a puppy can be shipped. Puppies can not be shipped until they are at least 10 weeks old.
